Hebei Province

Hebei, abbreviated as “Ji”, has Shijiazhuang as its capital. Located in North China, it surrounds Beijing and Tianjin, borders the Bohai Sea, with the Taihang Mountains to the west and Yanshan Mountains to the north. It covers 188,800 km² with a population of about 73.78 million. The only Chinese province with plateaus, mountains, plains and coast, it was the ancient Yan-Zhao region. Home to the Great Wall and Mountain Resort, it’s key in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei integration.
