Heilongjiang Province

Heilongjiang, abbreviated as Hei, with Harbin as the capital, is China’s northeasternmost province bordering Russia. It boasts vast forests, rich ice and snow resources, and fertile farmland. Famous for frigid scenery, scenic spots and distinctive border culture, it is an important grain base, ecological barrier and key hub for border trade in Northeast China.
