Shandong Province

Shandong, abbreviated as “Lu” with Jinan as its capital, lies on China’s eastern coast and the lower Yellow River, bordering the Bohai and Yellow Seas. A cradle of Chinese civilization, it’s the hometown of Confucius and Mencius, and the heart of Qilu culture. It features Mount Tai, the Yellow River delta, and vibrant coastal cities like Qingdao and Yantai.
